News from Menu, designers of scandinavian interiors. I discovered Menu on the fair Maison & Objet with a sleek and delicacy stand. The brand is made for those who wish to have the least possible elements in their interior, whithout any frills. I especially like the sets for the art of the table, and you immediately want to realize dishes as delicate as you can see in renown restaurants. You can find this brand in Le Bon Marché and Fleux.

FERM LIVING x PADDLE PEOPLE

A decorative series of wooden paddles made by the Paddle People for Ferm Living. It's a limited edition, sadly there are only 10 of each paddle. Graphics and colors are inspired by the Indigenous art of North America. You can find them on their website.

LA SUBTILE //

These are my new chairs, and also my low table for my living room. It will also be a bench for my guests. This is the perfect object for a small apartment. In metal, they resist to practically everything. You can assemble them and play with differents colours. The designer are from britain in France and they are really fun and motivated. 

Well done for this brand which you will see for sure in every design blog.

Ma soeur est allée au Danemark d'où elle m'a ramené ce beau carnet ainsi que ce crayon. Juste à temps pour l'emporter pour un voyage en voilier. Ce sera mon "carnet de bord". C'est exactement ce dont j'avais besoin pour cette occasion spéciale.

My sister went to Danemark where she bought me these beautiful notebook and pen. It's right in time to leave for a sail trip with it. It will be my unprofessional 'log book'. It's exactly what I needed for this special occasion.

Des couleurs et des formes en provenance du soleil, qui font écho à la chaleur ambiante, et qui rassurent quand les volets sont fermés pour la sieste. On a envie d'enfoncer ses doigts dans la chaleur du sable, de lire sur des coussins en tas, et de ramener les tomates du fond du jardin en évitant le périlleux vol des cigales. Un "new in" monochrome.

Jars is a brand for ceramics design, made in France in 1857 by Pierre Jars. Wonderful colours always in time with your wishes. A simple piece can enlight every indoor or outdoor. A poetry. I advise you to see the tumblr of the brand which is simply perfect.

Patricia Urquiola est une designer et architecte Espagnole. Elle a collaboré avec les plus grandes marques de design italiennes et internationales. Ses créations sont très élégantes. Malgré la diversité des matériaux et usages, son écriture est presque toujours reconnaissable; c'est ce que j'apprécie.
