His drawings are brutals. Constructions materials are rough.
Confrontation with water is recurrent. All these themes are fundament of his work. The heigth difference of the site allows him to confront full and empty parts. And the limits of the constructions are often the sea, playing with the skyline. I never visited any of his buildings but I can feel you should have vertigo visiting one. Never know where the building ends.
