His drawings are brutals. Constructions materials are rough.
Confrontation with water is recurrent. All these themes are fundament of his work. The heigth difference of the site allows him to confront full and empty parts. And the limits of the constructions are often the sea, playing with the skyline. I never visited any of his buildings but I can feel you should have vertigo visiting one. Never know where the building ends.

Ses dessins sont brutaux. Les matériaux de constructions durs.
La confrontation avec l'eau est récurrente. Tous ces thèmes sont les bases de son travail. Le dénivelé du site lui permet de confronter le plein et le vide. Et les limites de construction sont souvent la mer, jouant avec la ligne d'horizon. Je n'ai jamais visité un bâtiment de cet architecte mais je peux imaginer le vertige que l'on ressent en en visitant un. Difficile de dire où se termine le bâtiment.
