THIS PHOTOGRAPHER //

Lola James Harper is a brand we discovered with A in Le Bon Marché in Paris. It's a collab and they have a corner down there. The artist who created the brand is also a photographer, a traveller and he started to work with perfumers and a Maitre Cirier in France.

So he did with extreme good tastes a serie of candles and perfumes reminding our childhood or some particular moments we'd loved. I bought one for my mother based on fig (!). I think she will love this fragrance for summer. And baboon A bought the one with monoï, perfect for the summer as well...

Names of perfumes are like poetry : The Promenade in Vincennes Wood, The Surf Shop of Stephane etc.

These are my new chairs, and also my low table for my living room. It will also be a bench for my guests. This is the perfect object for a small apartment. In metal, they resist to practically everything. You can assemble them and play with differents colours. The designer are from britain in France and they are really fun and motivated. 

Well done for this brand which you will see for sure in every design blog.

J'ai découvert les bijoux botaniques sur Etsy. J'ai été impressionnée par la minutie du travail et le rendu de ce monde miniature. Verdure, sable, fleurs aux couleurs chatoyantes, pissenlits aériens... Tout est vrai et a été soigneusement cueilli pour l'éternité... Tellement romantique!

I discovered botanical jewelry on Etsy. I have been impressed by the details of the work and the look of this miniature world. Greenery, sand, shimmering flowers, floating dandelions... It is all for real and has been carefully harvested forever... so romantic!

BACK TO BASICS // ZERO WASTE HOME

During these days I was too busy reading a book I loved from the beginning to the end. "Zero waste home" is a revelation. I've always felt unconfortable going to malls to buy my food, or my clothes... I've always wondered what was wrong in my life and where I could be more happy, thinking it was the place more than the way I lived. I know it's exaggerated but in fact it's true. Maybe I need to decomplex with my way of living (what I buy, what I consume, what I throw away, what I use...). I think that living in the occidental way is somewhere, somehow wrong, and I know some of my friends feel the same way I do. Why do we need to fantasize about picking eggs on the morning, or drinking fresh milk from the farm or even going to buy your bread by bicycle... it's based on the myth of the wild man...  And now I understand things. The problem is that I still need to feed myself. What's explained in that book is that you need to adapt things from everyday to your way of life. You can buy local food, or food from season, you can live by watching less TV,  doing more on your own stuffs. You can do a lot of things, homemade. Like B. says all the time: think at least 3 or 4 times about the thing you need to buy and ask yourself if you really need it...

I highly recommand you to read this book. First of all because reading is a good thing and secondly because there is at least ONE thing she explains you could change in your life to improve it.

Le dernier album de Camélia Jordana est un régal. C'est empreint de sons orientaux, de douces mélancolies, d'un peu d'électro parfois, de poésie chantée souvent et de jazz aussi. Ça sent le sable froid, le ciel sombre et l'humain.
